What we collect, and what we do with it.
Short version: we only collect what you send us, we use it to get back to you, and we never sell it. Effective September 29, 2026.
What we collect
When you contact us. If you use the form on our contact page, email us, or call us, we get what you send: usually your name, email address, phone number, and a description of your business or project.
When you fill out one of our forms on Facebook or Instagram. Our ads may offer something like a free social media audit through a Meta lead form. Those forms send us the details you enter, such as your name, email, phone number, business name, a link to your business page or website, and your answers to the questions on the form. Meta handles that form under its own privacy policy as well as ours.
When you browse this website. We use Google Analytics to see, in aggregate, which pages people visit and how they found us. It uses cookies and collects things like your approximate location, device, browser, and the pages you view. It does not tell us who you are. You can opt out with Google's Analytics opt-out add-on or by blocking cookies in your browser.
How we use it
To answer your question, send you the quote or audit you asked for, and follow up about that request by email, phone, or text. If you become a client, we use your details to do the work and send invoices. We use the analytics numbers to improve this website.
We don't add you to a mailing list unless you ask to be on one, and we don't use your details for anything unrelated to what you contacted us about.
Who we share it with
We don't sell, rent, or trade your information. It's seen by our own team and by the services we use to run the business, such as our email provider, web host, Google (for analytics), and Meta (for form submissions that start on Facebook or Instagram). We would only disclose it otherwise if the law required it.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that don't turn into work are deleted within two years. Client records are kept as long as we work together and afterward for as long as tax and business records require.
Your choices
You can ask us what we have about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, at any time. Email office@blackrockmediagroup.com or call (208) 304-3372 and we'll take care of it.
